One thing I said when I started this blog and moved downtown was that I wanted to explore more of this city. Well, thank you Open House Chicago for letting me do just that! 200 buildings throughout the city open their doors for one weekend, letting people get a behind-the-scenes look at rooms that aren't typically open to the public. Talk about an opportunity to check out some of Chicago's most historic buildings!
I was able to visit 11 different spots within the downtown area, including the Congress Plaza Hotel, Fine Arts Building, Monroe Building, Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, The Drake Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel, Tribune Tower, Sky-Line Club, The Kemper Building, Columbia Yacht Club and Holy Name Roman Catholic Cathedral. Check out some of the photos I snapped below!
